By now, just about everyone know that sitting all day every day isn’t the healthiest behavior, but it can be hard to figure out the best solution for the problem. If your job requires you to be at your computer for 8 hours a day, what should you do to get yourself out of your seat?

There are apps that come along with the iPhone or the Apple Watch that will remind you to get up and move around, but some of us aren’t the techie type, or maybe being told by a robotic voice when to walk around doesn’t fit well with our need to be near the phone or email.

And standing desks are starting to be popular among many people, but being on your feet all day can seem daunting for someone who’s used to having a comfortable chair, and how do you know which one will work for you before you actually use it?
